*a letter to Fawks*

*the letter is written by the scrivener and meerly sgined by Gloinar*

Dear Leutenant Fawks.

I have heard that it was not through foul play that you gained access to those record and information, i also understand your position but i do want you to realise that no matter what we have done for the city we have always came up with nothing untill the Tor and now, with the prospect of being kicked out you'v put a giant dent in the clans moral, something that i cannot put up with as an elder of the clan and so, this is a formal appology on my behalf but also a request that we are notified before any thing happens regaring the Tor and that you please treat my kin with more respect as i shall be telling them to do so.

Marponeth 18, 151 Councilor Runehammer Townhall Regard: Your Clansmen

I accept your apology.

There was always a prospect that the Barak-Tor property would not be a perpetual lease. It is rented land that legally belongs to the Sanctuary Watch. For several reasons which I feel have been made clear in the past, the Sanctuary Watch feels that we should open the floor to new offers for this property.

As always, your clan is promised ten days of notice pending any end to the current contract and the current contract furthermore is clearly renewed for monthly terms and barring a grievous breech of terms will not be ended prior to the first of any month. Therefore, your clan would be notified of any termination of the contract no later than the 20th of the month prior to such termination. Further, in the event another party makes a better offer for the contract, as the current holders of the contract-I feel it is only a gesture of good faith to give you the opportunity to increase your offer to maintain possession of the contractual obligations you have established with the Sanctuary Watch.

If you wish to delve into the reasons this contract is being opened to new offers, that may always be discussed but I had felt that the reasoning is quite clear. The recent situation only demonstrates yet again the difficulty I face in continuing this contract and I hope that the lessons learned will be a foundation for a more respectful attitude from your kin.
