Ferdinand Fenwick or Jenner Tenken

Maropneth 17, 151 Ferdinand Fenwick or Jenner Tenken House of Light Regard Property Rights

The Watch wishes to inform you or a representative of the Beacon about ownership of the property. As you are likely aware, the building is not legally owned by yourselves and the current owner wishes the right to oversee the management of this charity and asks you to consent to a meeting and a signing of a contractual obligation to structure your tenancy.

Failure to meet with the legal owner, one Demetrius Bhast could result in him persuing legal actions against you or your staff. This may result in fines, jailing, and certainly forceful expulsion from the property. Demetrius Bhast has indicated a strong preference for working toward a peaceful solution which will allow him to continue to fund and aid charity in Lower Sanctuary while allowing the Beacon's current staff to remain in place with minimal oversight.

Please direct any questions to Demetrius Bhast or Lieutenant Fawkes of the Watch who is over seeing this litigation.

Lieutenant Fawkes

[letter sent to the Watchouse for Fawkes and to Town Hall for Bhast]

Dear sirs,

It would be my pleasure to meet with Mr Bhast. It is my intention to clear up any misunderstanding about this situation. We can meet down in the Beacon, if you like, or I will meet with Mr Bhast in the Town Hall.

I would suggest that Mr Fawkes not attend such meeting, however. His tendency to interupt others while they are conversing is well known. If Mr Fawkes requires information regarding the outcome of such meeting, he may send Officer Welles or Officer Merle as a witness on behalf of the Watch.

If Mr Fawkes insists on attending such meeting, then I would ask that it be a public meeting held in the main room of the Town Hall, so that all citizens may participate.

I look forward to our meeting, and will await word from Mr Bhast regarding the exact time and place it is to be held.

Ferdinand Fenwick

[personal note to Fawkes]

Fawkes--

You will understand if I do not trust your intentions. I do not mean to exclude the Watch from legal procedings, but you have proven in the past your dislike for me and my betrothed, Jenner Tenken.

Jenner and I will soon be wed. No, you are not invited to the wedding. I will protect her with my life, and I do not appriciate the unkind and manipulative words you have spoken to her in the past.

I do not want you to correspond verbally or in writing to Jenner anymore. If you must pass along information to her, you may send it to me.

I will view any appology from you on this matter as being decietful. I will not compromise on this issue. Do not talk with my betrothed.

Fen

I appreciate your words and do not require myself to be present at any meeting between you and Mr. Bhast unless he is to request such. That will not happen unless you fail to achieve a working discourse with him and the matter again becomes one of law and trespass.

Lieutenant Fawkes
