A shameless suggestion for faction perks. Having a slight reduction of xp cost, when a caster uses an alchemist work table to brew potions or enchant wands.
Alchemists Work Table
I like. Scrolls would probably work too. Which factions? Spellguard, obviously. Perhaps temples could have altars or something that achieve the same effect? How possible is it to script them so only faction members could use them?
Its entirely easy to script something so only a faction member can do it.
You just add one line of code basically; for temples you check diety, for DM factions you check faction membership.
Or just make one code for the table, and put it in an area only accessable by those factions.
That would cut down on scripting time, and will probably be less buggy.
I can't see any reason against it.
Dms, what do you think?

Presumably not all factions have factoin-only rooms though, particularly the temples.
Guess the player factions will either have to steal one or buy one then.

A good goal.

I am sure that if a Temple aquired a alchemist table, they would keep it in a room that was locked, so the visiting non members wouldn't hurt themselves messing with all that glass, bunsen burners, and harmful chemicals.
As for finding a table-- I think any table will do-- the issue is finding all the stuff that goes "on" the table.
Maybe an ongoing quest for glasswork, tubes, chemicals, and equipment to put on the table?
Find all the parts, and then you put your table together in a back room under lock and key. Don't want the kids hurting themselves with them nasty transmutative elements!
