A passage has collapsed in the abandoned mines, making it impossible to reach the Dark Lake from that rout for a time. Be aware that if you need to reach the area there are three alternate routs to choose from, but all have their dangers.

The Spider Caves : If you enter the spider caves on the gate road and walk through the tunnels, you will eventually reach the Wet Caves which leads you to the Dark Lake. Be wary, they are called the spider caves with reason.

The Northern Narrows: If you walk through the entrance to the narrows on the gate road you can navigate a number of passages which will lead to a dangerous hole. Jumping down this hole will lead you to the wet caves. WARNING: This trip down the whole is one way only, you will have to take another rout back to Sanctuary.

The Deep Stream: To the north of the low road is an entrance to the Deep Stream. Following down stream will bring you to the Dark Lake central. Watchful eye for difficult monsters in this passage.

The Dark Canal: There is a rout to the dark lake through the Dark Canal, however, people are seriously warned against using it.
