Ghaunadauran Faction Recruitment!

With the death of at least 3 faction PC's belonging to this group, I'd like to see a few more active players involved with the cult. This group is a DM faction, and is open to any race (aside from Goblins and Kobolds) for membership. If you've any questions about joining up, or application requirements, feel free to send me a PM or message me in IRC.

Some quick perks that the faction has!

1.) Snazzy HQ.

2.) Faction Gear.

3.) Free resting.

4.) Access to unique, and very neat scripting that allows for sacrificial ceremonies.

Cult Members are largely Chaotic Evil, though I can see how it could possibly allow a Nuetrally aligned member. Non-good alignment is definitely a requirement.

The rest is best found out in game, though I hope to see a few applications coming in!

Replete with victorious exaltations, when the bodies of the fallen are fed unto quivering gelatinous forms for nourishment.

This faction is ridiculous amounts of fun. But if you apply for drow, beware that almost everyone wants to kill you (lots more fun, IMO!) I seriously can't give this faction a higher recommendation.

It's at least 3.72 times more addictive than heroin...

Those of you who have been complaining about the reduced "survival feeling" on EfU have NO RIGHT to complain if you haven't tried out this faction.

We've been getting a lot of applications for this faction, yet a lot of them are really not that well thought out, it seems. One thing I'd like to stress is that I'm not entirely keen on approving drow anymore for the faction (or in general anymore) unless it is an absolutely stellar application.

If your application did not go through recently, I'd encourage a change to perhaps a human, or other standard race, as these races will have an incredibly easier time accomplishing the goals of this faction, and will more or less likely be a lot more fun for you all as players.

A few applications are coming in for female drow characters in this faction lately. I should probably clerify this now, to save anyone else time if they are thinking of applying for one. A female drow has about a 0.0000000000001 percent of a chance of getting in. I pretty much auto-reject these sort of things.

Ghaunadaur is a god that appeals to drow males in Traensyr, almost exclusively, because his dogma appeals to outcasts, rebels, the unwanted, and those who seek to overthrow those in power. Females in Traensyr have all the power, and it is very, very unlikely any of them would have any interest at all in worshipping Ghaunadaur.

Thanks for all the apps. For now I feel the faction is about as full as I want it to be. If we've not gotten back to you about a recently sent in application, we will soon, as we've just got our lovely forums back today.

I am just wondering about finding out if our application was accepted or not.

In the applications section it says that, for factions, you most likely won't be told you go it, but will find out in game. Is this still true, or will an applicant recieve an OOC reply as well?

If an applicant is currently playing the character they applied with (my character had know other application requirements other than the faction), and you get turned down, should you stop playing the character?
