Anyone out there interested in getting a kobold faction started? I've always been interested in the little hairless rats, and they're a pretty interesting little race.

I don't want to set anything about the concept yet- I want to hear a little about what you guys think and if anyone might actually be interested in the concept. If you'd like to play a kobold, post here, and if you have ideas or somthing, feel free to drop me a PM or post here or even send me a tell in game.

I won't even say that we will necessarily be an evil group, though I doubt that a good kobold group is really feasible. Ahh, but let's just see what happens.

Er are there really going to be all that many kobolds on the server as I understand it sub-races are going to be a perk for players. It might ruin the reward factor if player kobolds/goblins were very common.

That's a good point, but it's an application sub-race, so it's up to the DMs as it is- hence it's a group concept. A stray kobold who wants to be a hero seems far less likely than a small group of kobold exiles trying to eek a living among the "bigguns".

We'll judt have to see.

I wouldn't mind playing a kolbold once I delved deeper into the server. Though if I did, I would want to be a slave of some drow house. I think that would make up for some interesting RP.

I rather prefer it that kobolds are worse than other races, and so only made and played for Rping purposes. This means we can have a bunch of friends log on and play their kobold 'alts' occasionally.

Same for goblins, those resentful big people need someone to kick now and then.

The sight of the GM possesed guard smacking round the kobold and kicking it out of the Rockbottom lent a real flavour to the session.
