Letter to the Sherrif [DM]

Barrister Fawkes has yet to return the items he took from me. You told me in your office that you were directing Fawkes to return these items to me. That I should seek him out and that he would make an effort on his part.

I ran into him today, and began speaking to him about this matter, when he ran off on some official duty.

Please inform him that I still want my items returned to me.

Ferdinand Fenwick, Advocate.

Ferdinand,

Sherrif Graidan is dead, defending the gates from the lizardmen. We'll see your items returned to you when we get the chance.

Sergeant Sannen

Your situation is in investigation currently. The items were destroyed as legally required. Being someone who offers his services as an advocate on matters of law, I'm sure you already knew that.

Lieutenant Fawkes

To the Sergant and Fawkes-

I am sorry-- which is it? Will my property be returned? Or you have destroyed them?

If you have destroyed my property, then I expect to recieve similar items of equal or greater value.

Ferdinand Fenwick.

The situation will be investigated. I expect the next Sheriff will decide the case. However, you were arrested by my estimate for two different crimes.

The first crime was making the speech.

The second crime was posting copies of the speech after you were arrested.

The Sheriff died last night defending Sanctuary. The next Sheriff perhaps can look into this after far more important things are finished.

Lieutenant Fawkes
