Some of you may have seen us around and not know what we are all about so i thought id give a little info here and hopefully lend a little understanding as to who we are and what we are doing.
First of all, Wards of Aeon is not an exclusively Druidic faction. Any of those interested in protecting the balance are welcome. What does that mean? Well in game terms it means very basically that you prefer to see a more natural, less built-up sort of world.
heres something i posted a little while ago about us
https://efupw.com/efu1-forum/topic/17/17002/balance-of-the-aeon/index.html
We would expect to see Druids, Rangers, Bards, and really any other class that has a nature-centric outlook as part of the Wards. Also characters of some sort of nuetral alignment would get along best within the Wards of Aeon but this is not a limitation, we would prefer to work this out through roleplay.
The Wards have no specific leader, there is intstead a council made up of all the senior druids. This council is called the Inner Circle and all present carry an equal vote. Inner Circle positions are for life, but elections can be held to instate or impeach any councilor.
There is also one Speaker. This is an elected position and is also for life until the Speaker step down, passes on, or is impeached by majority vote.
We have been having quite a bit of fun roleplaying this. If anyone is interested in getting involved just say hey to us in-game or respond here. We hope to have lots of fun things to do.

I'm really sorry to say this, because I love when people have great ideas, but this belongs as a poster in "Sanctuary Public Notices", and I really think you should work for people to discover what you are about in-game. Nice job, though.

Actually, posting OOC recruitment in General Discussion is pretty common and accepted. It's a good way to get new players involved, or to inspire players out of a character to concept a character specifically for the faction if they feel so inclined.

Just wanted to say, I feel particularly silly giving this thread a hard time, while praising the slime recruitment.
(and my signature grows more ironic...)

In game steps should always be taken first. In this case, the character would almost have to be created with this in mind, so it's a little different.
Edit, added: And they took IG steps too, looking at that letter above. The point isn't to dampen efforts to increase emphasis on factions, but to encourage IG activity. A fair comparison is how auctions are much more preferably done IG and IC, despite the serious drawback of reaching a much smaller audience. Thought that needed to be mentioned.
