Yesterday I had a very scary swimming speed bug. I was naked but for a shield and sword, swimming along at a steady clip. I wondered if putting my weapon/shield away would increase my speed. Infact it did the oppersite, and I was slowed! The sudden speed decrease would have been fatal. Helkest had a look in game, and witnessed the bug, I can probably do it again if wanted.
Thanks in advance.

Very peculiar.
Can you repeat this (under DM supervision!) and see if re-equipping your sword/shield causes you to speed up?

This sounds serious, and so I'd really like to know if it's a repeatable issue!
Any news?

I can confirm this is a little bugged. If you enter the water with fullplate/shield, you'll be slow. If you subsequently un-equip/re-equip tower shield, you'll go even slower. A temporary solution is to just remove both shield and armor while underwater (if possible) and you'll be able to go fast again.

See if the bugs go away in v944. I've added a slight delay to the recalculation, to allow for time to equip/unequip. Not sure if it'll work or not.

Any news on this?
I'd like to know that it's working properly, since it seems like a serious issue.

Anecdotally, I can say swimming has been working a lot better when switching between armor. I haven't experienced any problems of late, I don't know if anyone else has.
