*posted mostly about lower, with a few in upper in plain sight by Emanuel Lucas*
Men and women in power often concern themselves only with staying in power, it is no surprise to me that most in the watch and spellguard fall into this category. They use fear to keep people in line with their agendas. Let us not forget that a mere few months ago they walked into lower and slaughtered innocent people for crimes that another power mongering group, the Tiger Eyes, committed. Then they left the place in ruins for months, while disease and gangs ravaged the common man. I ask you, if they are meant to protect us, are they doing their jobs?
Any safety they do manage to provide only keeps us where we are, under their thumbs. Lower was founded because it wanted to live its own way, it wanted to be free and to find the surface. Do not let them them squash that hope. Live like you are free and to hell with anyone that would try to stop you. Arm and protect yourselves. Find faith that the way will be found and it will be so.
The time of the Ascension is near and those with faith will find the way in their hearts. Those that have succumb to the trinkets of gold and silver, to the minor powers and nobility that this city provides them will find that they will remain here with them, while we dance with the sons and daughters of Frederick in the sunlit fields of the surface. The power of your faith will transcend any fear the watch would put into you, any aggression the spellguard may launch at you. There is nothing more powerful then a man or woman who is free. Faith will show us the way.
Unite in freedom! You have nothing to lose but that chains the you still wear, the chains the watch would keep on you, the chains that would keep you weak. I say you are strong! Together we are stronger then the rocks that imprison us and we will chisel the way home. Unite In Freedom! Damn to all others that would have us remain slaves. Damn the Watch! Damn the Spellguard! They can not take our freedoms any longer.
