Children in the Warrens

This quest is still giving no end reward, or heck any treasure at all except a little from the spawns you kill.

The end boss, considering that, is a monstrosity. It nearly wiped out our entire party. This was my first time on this quest, so its hard to judge-but risk to reward seemed very off on it.

I think Khark used all his own potions, and all of Bimbados and only just barely killed it with the other half of the party dead.

I have to agree with Oro about the boss. I don't mind tough, but he seriously took about 10 minutes to take down, and beat all of our party but me senseless ( Go AC 31!). Despite that, the boss wasn't an overwhelming problem, except for him having a small horde of healing potions that made beating him past Injured almost comical. I think reducing the potions the boss carries to a level befitting a small, winged beastie might be a good idea.

( I admit that my own character accidentally attacking and killing his own party members probably didn't help the effort. Damn misclicks  )

I'm going to redesign this quest.

The idea was that these kids didn't have any gold to pay you, but killing the boss would result in a huge horde of potions and supplies which would be a nice reward.

What I didn't count on was people being unable to kill him fast enough for all those potions to drop.

Same issue with Crazy Jane quest in fact.

Do you get a journal update when you pull the lever?

I've done it twice, and we recieved journal entries for pulling the lever. We then told the little kid his sister was dead (not sure if the journal updated at this point), and that was it. The grand total loot was like 13 coins that dropped from an imp.
