If you're one of those people that find it difficult to get into plots and want immediate access to plotting and action (and even if you're not), now's your chance. Involvement guaranteed.
Outline:
I'm looking to recruit people for a plot that may last a fair while. There is no real cap on how many players I'm willing to take (The more the merrier, really), so if you've got no character and want instant plotting and involvement, give it a shot. Your character will definitely be involved in (and moreover, all approved will be an essential part of) the "grand scheme of things" and will definitely be involved in character conflict. PvP is almost absolutely guaranteed and will be a medium with which we will be propelling the story.
The plot itself will be largely closed to "outsiders" who haven't applied for it, so if you want involvement, you must apply now.
Also, you must be serious about this character. Dropping the character before they are killed in PvP or just not playing them may put a spanner in the works for the whole thing. If you decide it's not for you half way through, tell me before you drop the character!
There will be definite perks to playing these characters. You'll get things that regular characters won't, but there are also pitfalls.
Your application:
The first and probably most important rule here is that you tell no one you're applying. No one but the DMs should know you're participating in this now, and no one but the DMs should know you're participating when this begins. Your participation is something to be discovered in game and will be a large part of the plot.
The application requires no goals. You may add some if you wish, but they are not necessary. You will be assigned a goal that you will pursue freely throughout the course of the plot, and it should be the main focus of the character. You are, of course, at liberty to do anything else you want with your character, so long as you remain active in your pursuit of this goal.
I'm looking for characters with a distinct personality or quirk, so your history and character's persona will be key to the application and will determine whether or not you are approved. Characters from all over Toril i.e. of any nationality, are viable and encouraged. Characters with a distinguishing, but tasteful, feature are what I'm looking for.
All subraces are allowed (and for the reasons above, somewhat encouraged), but they must be applied for seperately following normal application conventions. You will need goals as if it were a regular app for subraces, and due to the heavy PvP you may encounter, this subrace may not last you long, so think before applying. Most classes will be approved, but Paladins certainly won't. Preferably non good characters, but if you've got a great idea for a good character, we'll see what we can do.
It's unlikely you'll be approved if you've currently got a faction character.

Any regular applications should just be sent to me in forum PM. Any applications that involve subraces, PrCs and so forth must be sent to the DM email as well as my forum PM inbox.
When you're approved, you'll be sent info regarding your character and the role they'll be playing. Your character will likely be given their own individual preludes before entering the game, so you must wait for a DM to cue you before you create the character.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about applying and so forth in private messages on IRC or through forum PM, but definitely not on the main channel or any kind of subsidiary channel (such as #efuapps) for obvious reasons!
