Saerwen [Copy to Watch]

A copy is sent to the Watch

Saerwen,

Earlier you were charged for illegal spellcasting. You have a right to know more details, and seeing as I was too busy to see you personally, this letter will outline such.

You are responsible for numerous accounts of illegal spellcasting in the Crone. Specifically, healing spells and dispels were reported by numerous sources. Additionally, you are not a registered spellcaster, which has elevated your fine a substantial amount.

I advise you register with our Order as early as you are able.

-Field Officer Ferrington Order of the Spellguard

Dear Officer Ferrington,

First of all, thank you for your reply, the crass Private was not able to provide any explanation and he consistantly called the "crimes", "unwarded spellcasting". In the future if you wish to speak with me or arrest me, please do not send incompetent Watchmen to do the job for you

The Pissing Crone is warded with a Svirfneblin device that protects from scrying and the balls of light called mage eaters. If you have a problem with the way the establishment is run, you should take it up with Cyrus and not one of his employees.

Best Regards ~Saerwen

Saerwen,

Usually such items are dealt with by myself, but the moment was extraordinary and I was needed elsewhere. I apologize for any inconvenience the Watch has provided you.

The crime itself is not charged against The Pissing Crone establishment. The crime is charged on you. You personally were reported to be casting these spells, however take solace in knowing that other offenders will be charged accordingly.

As for the ward in the Pissing Crone, it is not officially recognized by the city. If the Pissing Crone would like to have its establishment warded, Cyrus may file a request here at the Tower.

I will kindly ask you and your colleagues to at least make an effort to regulate spellcasting as decreed by the law, otherwise I will press charges against The Pissing Crone.

Thank you for your cooperation, -Field Officer Ferrington Order of the Spellguard
