text version
The Balance has been likened to a pendulum but is in fact like a wheel spinning back and forth. It is wheels nested within wheels in infinite scale spinning on myriads of axes in all the directions. Each of them representing the balance on a particular scale from the most minute to the largest imaginable.
Each wheel in turn effects the balance of the smaller wheel within it limiting wobble, or unbalance, by exerting lateral force in a single direction. It is when a wheel reverses direction to turn the tide once again, it allows the most wobble or disturbance to the wheel within it.
This entropic chain of wheels represents the balance as a whole and they resonate together creating the Harmony. The largest wheel we can perceive is that what we call the Aeon, its infinite wheels creating the tonality of the world we know. It is all of our ancestral memory and all things that have been known.
The Harmony of our Aeon is part of the Divine Melody, and our greatest responsibility is to carry our part in tune. The way of Balance lies in holding perfectly true the spin of the Aeon until it reverses and begins a new Aeon as it travels its path through the Divine Melody.

((Letters and notes are sent to a specific PC or NPC, one that you mention, and no one else can see the text. What you have here is a public notice - not aimed at particular characters, but left in a public space where everyone can see it. This doesn't neccesarily have to be around all of town, and if it isn't, just mention where it -is- posted.))
