If there are conditions or information that will cause your character to leave the party midquest please resolve them before agreeing to accompany a party on a quest, this is especially true in groups of two. I realize conditions may arise mid quest. Still, it is extremely frustrating to have someone drop party midway through a quest over something relatively minor especially if it could have been worked out before the quest was taken. -dholt5
Small Request.
Fair enough but as you said alot of things occur midquest and there is little one can do bout it, Most of the instances where people have dropped out around me is when they have problems in RL that are out of there control and cannot be solved beforehand. So try not to get frustrated (And I know it is) Because they are most likely as worried about the quest as you.
RL crisis do occur, but more often than not people try to worm in that one last quest just before they have to leave for work, or before someone comes over, or before school, or before dinner, etc. Poor planning on your part in trying to cram that quest in is just rude, please do not do it. If you know you might have something come up, tell your party in advance. It's only polite.
Besides, even if you decide to wisely log the EfU server and that very same quest will be there the next day waiting for you. No rush, seriously.
Remember that some of us are new to the server and don't have all of the quests memorized. If I am playing a lawful good character and partway through the quest a moral decision must be made as part of the quest, and the party goes against what my character can agree too, I may leave in order to stay IC.
Once I know certain quests have this issue I will try to avoid them so that I don't put other people in a bad situation, but at the moment I don't have a clue about most of the quests.
