To Spellguard

Marponeth 5, 151 ... ... Regard Rahmun

I am aware Rahmun claims to be working directly with your agency on a plan to rid Sanctuary of the kobolds and goblins. His plan is pure folly and one of the most ridiculous concepts I have ever in my life had the misfortune of encountering. A giant tuning fork will not drive out the kobolds, all it takes is for one of their human allies or a shadow dragon to knock the thing over and then we're at war.

A war which I must state may not need to ever occur. Situations are in motion to delay the need of fighting the kobolds in Sanctuary, situations which may even result in them permanently leaving Sanctuary. I'll urge the Spellguard that if it is at all acceptable to avoid conflict, to either halt Rahmun's plan or at the very least force him to hold his tongue and stop announcing his plot widely and openly to everyone who can hear and report it back to the Shadow Tribe.

Lieutenant Fawkes

Lieutenant Fawkes,

Rahmun Manth is a Spellguard Associate, but he incorrectly represents our interest in this matter. He will be informed that we are watching his endeavour with the tuning fork, but not officially endorsing it.

A copy of the correspondence is sent to Rahmun Manth, with the following:

Manth, you've good intention and good work, however this matter is far more complicated than you can see from your perspective. Stop advertising that we're officially endorsing you, because we're not. However we are interested in your progress. Talk to me in person for more details.
