My knowledge of the area surrounding our town is limited at this time, but perhaps I could still be of some use to you. I am a tracker and scout. Those are the skills that I can offer at this point.

In order to give you more details, I will have to meet with you- This is a long-term (or perhaps short-term if you are extremely successful) mission, which requires discretion and preparation. I wouldn't share information about it in script which could be found and used by our enemies.

The meeting would be a relatively public area, you shouldn't have any concerns about this for your safety, however if you still do- then this letter is as far as we will go.
