Candidate Wendall Hood has been killed today. He was with myself patrolling the shores of the dark lake when the Sslal'teesh caught our group off guard and assualted us. While the group was small, Wendall was killed and dragged to sea after their vile mages of rot were destroyed. His last known words were something about "Maelstrala." This is yet another reason to believe that the Sslal'teesh are a threat and need to be properly prepared for. Do not underestimate them. Prepare.
