Might I recommend that you add a couple bonuses to Spell Focus: Transmutation, seeing as it SUCKS? How about slightly stronger familiar and a longer duration on transmutation buffs and Polymorph Self?

Having played a Transmuter for a short while, I agree that the feats don't really add alot, mechanically. Having said that, there is a certain spell which does benefit from having these feats, and it is a very powerful one when used well. So it isn't totally useless.
Of note is that pretty much all the standard buffs are Transmutation, and most of these are already at hour/level. Further increasing duration might unbalance particular quests.
Some changes to Polymorph Self sound interesting, but I don't see how having a stronger familiar is linked to focusing on Transmutation.

Was Just wandering that myself :S, But yes, Transmutation is a little Underbalanced from the other focuses but as Caddies said there are a few there that are useful moreso with cleric Domains
I may be mistaking this for another feat/ability, but SpellFocus increases the DC of your spells right? I see that being very useful for transmutators since it gives enemys a hard time dispelling your buffs.

Anyways, about the familiar thing: Transmutation doesn't have a whole lot to do with familiars, at all, but it would make them unique for sure. It seems like such a wasted set of feats just for one or two spells.

Dispelling has nothing to do with the spell's DC, only the caster level of the spell being dispelled.

Actually lots of buffs are transmutation, although that doesn't impact their ease of being dispelled.
The school itself may well be one of the very best to pick, and the feats aren't bad - even in EfU. Slow is an extremely useful spell at the low/medium levels, and of course if you ever reach the high levels the feats are absurdly powerful, the most powerful of all wizard feats. Admittedly that's difficult for EfU, but I fully anticipate seeing someone reach level 11 eventually.

Having payed a conjurer, I can tell you missing transmutation hurts. The standard "buff" spells are bulls strength, cat's grace, endurance, owl's wisdom, fox's cunning, and eagle's splendor. Those are all transmutatoin, and are extremely useful spells.
The only painful thing about missing transmutation (from my perspective) is the haste spell. Sometimes choosing the Conjuration is good because everyone doesn't expect you to buff them.
Also let's remember that the most important thing is the character concept. If you're playing some kind of crazy Transmuter, it just makes sense taking the feat/s at some point. Don't let the (perceived) lack of mechanical power stop you.
Bestow Curse was the spell I was alluding to in my first post.

I must be getting too used to epic-level PvP spellcasting, because in there, those spells are rarely used (the ability spells often make too little a difference, magic weapon has no effect because everyone already has magic weapons, who uses ultravision anyway, who uses magic vestment anyway, everyone's already got haste items).

The Curse of High lvl's but yes, Those spells are all extremely useful for anyone in Efu and A Buffing Cleric/Mage can quite easily determine whether the party will fail or not.
