There is no better defense, then the knoweldge that if the need arise, you can defend yourself. It takes little training to learn the use of a crossbow, or a stout blade. I will give short training sessions to those that wish it. If you can not afford a weapon, seek me out and I will try to provide.

Training Sessions Held At The Beacon Every Tenday

Training in light crossbow use and stout blades for all citizens of lower. Though I can not afford to supply all with weapons of their own yet, I will try to provide as many as I can to those that have the most need, including heads of households, residents closest to the Canal Gate and otherwise persons in dire need.
