Big Bill Danielson, Lower Fortress + Pissing Crone *sealed*

High Harvestide, 151

Bill:

It would have been nice to see you at my reunification talks. It'd still be nice to see you at one of my campaign speeches.

To the point -- the dwarf called Mug is a Footman. I assume you know who he answers to. I have a letter from a witness saying he's responsible for half the damage to the Beacon's main room. Find your copy enclosed.

I want half the repairs to this damage paid for by Mug or his superior. As of my signature being placed on the Accord, that means you. I don't care if Mug has to paint himself green and shake his booty in goblin town to raise the coin.

The people of Lower look to the Beacon for hope. It relies on their donations and their good will. Leaving it damaged would be unpleasantly nostalgic. We'd be sending the kind of message that the previous "charity" was good at sending.

I'll be tracking the man Zur down to shake his half out of him. For now, I don't want outside help with this.

Also, I want to talk to you about something unrelated.

Good dark,

- Blackhaw.

None of our patrons were hurt, although the children were quite scared for a while after the fight.

I have worked hard to clean up the mess, but there is still a lot of books that must be gone thru to be salvaged, and the broken furniture must be hauled away.

I will do my best to make the main room livable, but there is a need for replacement benches, couches, and bookcases.

Zur is a wanted criminal, if collateral damage was caused by footman Mug in the course of his pursuits, then such is an unfortunate event, but not one that we will, or can, be financially liable for.

Remember that the footmen are a volunteer force of citizens. If you wish compensation, take it up with Mug.
