Oghma and the Trickery Domain

Faiths and Pantheons describes Oghma to have the following domains: Charm, Knowledge, Luck, Travel, Trickery.

As does the Escape from the Underdark website. It gives Oghma the following domains: Knowledge, Travel, Trickery

Now I wonder. Why does Oghma have the Trickery domain? Isn't Trickey all that Oghma opposes? The Faiths and Pantheons clearly states: "Knowledge is power and must be used with care, but hiding it away from others is never a good idea." "Curb and deny falsehoods, rumor and deceitful tales whenever you encounter them." "Spread truth and knowledge so all folk know more." "Never deliver a message falsely or incompletely."

So this is all the more to contradict the use of the Trickery domain. I am curious how Oghma acquired this domain, and why he still holds dominion over it. Can someone explain this to me?

Oghma is one of the oldest deities in Toril and seems to have always had the trickery domain. Though his dogma does oppose telling lies, it does not prohibit illusions. Simple tricks can awe and inspire people, while others can be seen as a lack of knowledge. He may also use it to hide those ideas he wishes to confine to its originator. In general, it seems Oghma's use of trickery coincides with charms and not lies.
