Although I am not testing this my self for obvious reasons (even though I know I have a ton of suicide chars.) but do NPC spellcasters summon Mage Eaters?

I mean I've had Gnoll and Goblin Shamans cast all sorts of spells on me and they aren't using scrolls or nothin' but over time to they summon Mage Eaters as well or is it just for PCs or Santuarians in General?

They use available in game methods to discourage mage eater interception.

Okay just wondering why we don't see NPCs get eaten by Mage Eaters more often. Which leads me to another question: are these In Game Methods temporary or permenant?

That question needs to be persued in game.
