I would like to order one dwarven axe.

If the quality of the piece be to my liking, which i am sure it will be, i would be interested in arranging some longer term mercantile arrangement between yourself and the dwarfs of Clan Stoutheart.

Although we have many that can forge in our number we have not the equipment.

As a result we have a labour source which may be of interest to you. Although discussions will need to be had, there may be some oppurtunities by which both sides can prosper and we can push the Duergar merchants and crafters from Sanctuary.

I know that you have been looking to get established for some time, and the offer of dwarven forgers and crafters may be the kick you need.

I look forward to your reponse in regard to the dwarven axe and the potential of business opportunities.

I don't think I can help you, but your letter reminded me of a dwarven smith who used to work here in Sanctuary. He made good, fine steel until a number of years ago where he disappeared mysteriously while headed out to purchase steel. I've always suspected he was kidnapped and enslaved, and if you've a gang of tough friends it may be worth seeing if he could be rescued after all this time. Stop by the stall in Lower sometime with a gang if you ever think you and your clan would be up for trying a daring slave rescue of one of your blood.

Further, I have examined your product and am quite pleased at the quality of your wares and think that citizens will find them far superior to those of the traitorous Duergar. We would like to offer a few of our Clan to meld with your craftsman in order to increase production.

We are also currently working on restarting the mining operations and processing of ore needed for your livelihood. Any support for this cause that you could convey to the Council might assist us in our bid to fullfil this important role in the economy of Sanctuary.

That would be fine. My family doesn't know much about ore, but from what I'm told the old grunstubhle mines were mostly mined out and are rapidly becoming filled with monsters. Still, best of luck to your clan.
