It is with a glad but anxious heart that I once again turn to you, citizens of Sanctuary, for support.

My heart is glad! Because I now tell you of the great things that we have accomplished in these past two months. Tyrants have fallen. The Tigereyes and Sheriff Walters are both gone.

And we will make Sanctuary whole!

We have successfully negotiated an agreement that has eluded Sanctuary for far too long.

Under the terms of the Eleint Accord, the Spellguard remains functional for all of Sanctuary's people. The Watch -- rebuilt -- will expand into Lower, where the men and women of Lower will be among those who join their ranks. Sanctuary will be a safer home for us all.

This term, we also created First Bank of Sanctuary, putting Sanctuary’s economy directly into your hands. This makes our home more prosperous for us all.

My heart is anxious! Though we strive to do our best, we are forced to do so in the face of unbearable evil and corruption. Kobolds and goblins tampered with last term’s election results. This will never happen again! Lizardfolk stand ready to attack our town - but we prepare! As the leader of the force that routed the vile Lizardfolk from the Blue Mushroom, I know we take every step to prepare Sanctuary!

We have taken the stand that Sanctuary is a town of -free- men and women.

I pledge to you now, as I did two months ago, that every citizen of Sanctuary is important to me. It does not matter where you live.

There has been much change in a very short time, my brothers and sisters of Sanctuary. Through it all we have proven our resilience; Of faith and purpose! Of strength and skill! We face, as Sanctuary always has, the threats of a hostile environment, and we must remain strong in the face of incredible adversity.

We have taken the stand that Sanctuary is a town of -free- men and women. Not of kobolds, goblins, drow or lizardfolk.

Kobolds and goblins will never again tamper with Sanctuary's elections.

Monstrous and slaver races are now banned in Sanctuary. This ban is the Council’s most controversial move. Some would call this hasty, overbroad, or a punishment on those not deserving of punishment.

I say the ban is none of those things.

We will not dance around the issue, as some would. We will not pretend that kobolds and goblins or even drow are the same as humans, dwarves, elves, halflings or gnomes. The monstrous and slaver races are inherently evil. We do not pour tea for monsters. We do not worry ourselves about whether we hurt slavers’ feelings. The Council is charged – by you! – to defend this Sanctuary, our home, against threats.

And I mean all of Sanctuary!

With the aid of the brave adventurers and defenders of Lower Sanctuary, I am confident that the kobolds and goblins will be driven from our home.

I have not spent my time as your Councilor warming the chair at my desk with my rump, tucked away from your view.

I led the assault to reclaim the Blue Mushroom.

I’ve defended our gates when Orogs, Giants and Trolls have threatened our home.

There is so much to be done! Should I win another term, I will propose a ban on the cults and infernal items that threaten the safety of our citizens.

I will continue my efforts to update Sanctuary’s lawbook to address bribery, extortion, and slavery.

I will continue sharing information with Civil Defense Institutions to protect against threats to Sanctuary’s security.

I will make our home – our Sanctuary - as strong as it can be.
