Anybody know any resources for RDDs? I checked Google and couldn't find much.
Specifically, I'm looking for how bards/sorcerers are linked to Red Dragons and how they become RDDs. And of course, any other misc. information will be very nice.

You'll want a sourcebook. Go to the bookstore...or catch me in IRC.

Sorcerers and Bards all have Dragon Blood flowing through their veins. The Red Dragon Disciple goes on a search to investigate his heratige, and unlocks the powers of a Red Dragon, as he advances in his class.
This is to say; Red Dragon Disciples have a Red Dragon forefather. A White Dragon Disciple has a White Dragon as a forefather, etcetera.
The Dragon Disciple class originally appeared in the 3.0 suppliment Tome & Blood, a wizards and sorcerer add-on. They are also featured in the 3.5 Dungeon Master's Guide.
How are bards and sorcerers related to Dragons? From the Players Handbook 3.5 (pg 51): "Some sorcerers claim that the blood of dragons courses through their viens. That claim may be true in some cases--it is common knowledge that certain powerful dragons can take humanoid lovers, and it's difficult to prove that a given sorcerer does not have a dragon ancestor." Since bards have a similar casting system, I think that the same situation is assumed for them.
Here is the description of the Dragon Disciple from the Dungeon Master's Guide 3.5 (pg 183): "It is known that certain dragons can take humanoid form and even have humanoid lovers. Sometimes a child is born of this union, and every child of that child unto the thousandth generation claims a bit of dragon blood, be it ever so small. Usuall, little comes of it, though mighty sorcerers occationally credit their powers to draconic heritage. For some, however, dragon blood bekons irresistibly. These charcters become dragon disciples, who use their magical power as a catalyst to ignire their dragon blood, realizing its fullest potential."
So would the sorcerer/bard have to know about the dragon blood or would there be a way they somehow just feel it inside them?
I think its innate. They get the feeling or the urge and it developes on its own. I suppose that you could be supprised at which type of dragon you turn out as. "I think I'll be a gold dragon. *Wings pop out upon level-up* Oh, I'm a green dragon?"
I thought the soon-to-be Red Dragon Disciple first had to learn of his heritage, before he could develop Red Dragon Disciple levels.
But given Secutor's whack-Coldburn-off-the-world knowledge, I think he might be the best source (seeing as he has the sourcebook as well). :)
I bow to your superiority, Secutor.
So once a character suspects that he or she has a bit of dragon blood in them, how do they use their magic to bring out their inner dragon? Lots of meditation? Some sort of rituals...?

It's like being gay all of your life, but at one point someone points it out for you. So you start exploring your sexuality abit. First you visit gay-pornsites, after that you might make a chat with other, like-minded individuals, and before you know it, you are fully aware of your gayness, and realize it's potential.
...Figure of speaking.
No, this does not reflect my personal life. And no, it didn't mean this to be insulting as well.
Tome and blood 3.0 (pg 55): "A Dragon Disciple is different. He always suspected, but the flying dreams confirm it. The experience is so vivid and real and that other dreams are as dusty cinders in comparison. Hurtling through the sky, unfettered by the earth, the dreamed exults in his beautifully scaled wings pulling him through the clouds. His senses are alive as never before, allowing him to smell, hear, and see with a terrible clarity no mere human can ever really comprehend. A volitile power burns in his lungs, a potency he knows he could unleash with a mere breath. It's almost... draconic." "First come the dreams. Many dismiss them as nothing more than wish fulfullment (or even nightmares), and that's the end of it. But a few embrace the dreams, recognizing their allure as a promise."
Seems like dreams are the sign according to the sourcebook. I'm sure you can do it however you want though.

This is actually a pretty good example I think.

Awesome.
Thanks!
Gladly.
