Comrade,
I apologize for not being available for the past while, I was on a long term scouting project which, in the end, proved to be less fruitful then I had hoped. Since my return I have asked around for Ruby, though none knew where she could be found. In this place I am prone to believing the worst and offer my condolences if this is the case. I do hope she passed my map onto you, but if not, I have placed a copy of it within this letter for you to look at. I was specifically interested in the whereabouts of Loplopiiiblop and the Harbor of Traensyr, as I have only been there by ship and am somewhat unaware of there north/south placement.
I met a good man who, amoung other things, has a lead on the whereabouts of one of the runes of which Stonewanderer often speaks. The two of us shall likely pursue it and I will report any progress I make to you, unless there is another seeker you would prefer me to report to.
In the mean, I ask that you continue to consider my aplication into the fold. If this is somehow still not possible, then at the very least I should like to continue the arrangement I had with the late Orison regarding obtaining mapping equipment in exchange for copies of the maps I would draw up.
