Councilor Fryar and Castille

Elient 25, 151 Fryar/Castille Townhall Regard Our Relationship

Councilor, reports reach me that you are actively seeking to have me demoted for "abuse" of power. As you may or may not be aware, I've recently conducted two investigations into the Watch which located occurances of incompetence and dereliction of duty. Therefore, I take such accusations seriously.

I am also currently conducting a number of investigations into the Spellguard itself--upon complaints issued by you. I find it distressing that you would appeal to me to conduct investigations which indicate your faith in my abilities while subsequently informing citizens and members of our defense leagues that I am a tyrant abusing his authority.

If these are merely rumors, let us dispel them. If there is truly a concern about my actions-you appear to be a man of honor, why not confront me directly and hear the facts?

Considering my aid in many recent matters, I am baffled to hear rumors you seek my expulsion from the Watch I serve rather than my quick promotion within it that I might better root out internal corruption within the Watch and Spellguard.

Castille's letter includes an extra paragraph.

"In looking through your complaint about the Spellguard arrest of yourself, I note that you were never physically checked for an implant. I would like to conduct such a simple test myself; just so everything is done according to procedure. I feel it will help your case to demonstrate a willingness to cooperate and the lack of an implant."

Sergeant Fawkes,

You've seen the reports I forwarded about your conduct. That's as far as complaining on my part has gone, and as far as it will go unless I receive further evidence.

You've heard what I had to say, I think you're doing a good job as long as you don't let personal biases interfere with your work. Within the last fortnight I haven't had any complaints about your performance or conduct. Keep up the good work.

- Councilor Fryar

At this time I have far more pressing matters to attend to than the demotion or promotion of a Sanctuary Watchman. Each day aberrations gather to do battle, in the Sandy Caverns. Thralls from the Pyrimo travel Lower Sanctuary dispering keys ot that wretched inn... the letter continues to ramble on and on about the aberrant threat, eventually ending with a simple signature

-Castile.
