I don’t know if you will remember me but I am the Sonnlinor of Moradin who returned the remains of one of your clan to you a few months back for a decent burial.

Now I’m not sure if anyone from Sanctuary has bothered to inform you or if you already know but here’s a heads up for you and your clan.

The Blue Mushroom has been destroyed by the Lizard folk across the Dark Lake. The area is pestilent now and trade from the ‘Shroom has ceased completely and the trade route has closed. These scaly buggers seem to be followers of Moander and as such, want to spread that dead gods filth all about.

I suggest you get your clan ready, or even better, collapse the shaft that leads to the Blue Mushroom since the Lizards will probably use your mines as the invasion route to hit Sanctuary. I don’t think they will care too much who they kill along they way and unfortunately, your mine & clan are first in their line of march so you will cop them regardless.

I don’t have to remind you of the last outbreak of plague that was from Moander and the chaos it caused and how it was bad for business. I see a way you can capitalize on this but I’ll wait to speak to you in person before going any further.

I think the longshanks here may have something that barely resembles a plan to deal with this incoming attack and plague but I wouldn’t count on it too much. It’ll probably be a hap-hazard and on the fly sort of thing I suspect when the rothe turds hit the fan, not proper dwarf planning.
