actually two bugs i saw, but i think they may be related somehow

okay so 1st) so i logged in yesterday under another account i have and i was told that, to a one pc i appeared as an npc, i.e little talk icon instead of the hand.. and the pc (thorain) could not "tell" me anything. the same thing happened today, only in reverse (thoraine was an npc to me) relogging seems to fix this but it is rather annoying

2nd.. ) the last two days i have been able to access another players character on my selection screen, not a big deal, just dont play him.. but when i logged in today and it showed he was on i tried to send him a tell, and instead got a completely different pc. we experimented and i sent a party invitation to "marich son of aglin" and the other pc got the invite and said he accepted, but nothing happened.. so i logged out because i needed to do i quick rp session with thoraine with another character, from a different account.. this is said because on BOTH of my accounts i am able to play marich, i even logged in for about 10 seconds as marich to see if that would fix anything, but it just showed both of us, standing in the town hall naked (thats kinda creepy ic, but whatever)

Actually the bug happend to me as well, thought it worth mentioning, I've seen a PC as an NPC.

This issue is caused by lag, -I think-, and somewhere it was asked to report on such events, due to new scripting or so

This is an anchient bug and usually goes away on it's own. Tells still work via /tp "accountname" and /t "charactername" as well as the player list.

Are you a wizard who uses their familiar by any chance or another class? Have you crashed at all in the past day or two whilst playing efu?

I -think- this is sorted by deleting the offending 'cloned' PC's. I deleted one, but i'm not 100% sure whether that'll have fixed the problem or not.

That doesn't look like the name of the one I saw in this state.

I'm Berosion the Odd, and the bugs I were having cleared up nicely afterwards.

Still, I got tells from a lot of other people who were experiencing the exactly same problem with exactly the same character appearing in their vaults.

Incidents of this sort have to be cleaned up on a case-by-case basis.
