Lower Council

Lower Councilors,

The vote on Reunification has been unanimously supported by our Council. We have delivered the results of the vote to Mayor Bresley for his review that he might support it. He holds a great deal of support among the citizens, and his approval would do a great deal toward making it widely accepted.

In the meantime, the lizardfolk threat grows increasingly dire. Consider this an invitation to you and yours that our doors are open for refuge. It is highly recommended your citizens evacuate Lower and take refuge in Upper Sanctuary when the Lizardfolk come. It is unlikely the Watch will be able to fortify and secure your gates before enemies come.

I would also like to extend my sincere apologies for my ire in previous communication. The bureaucratic nature of Sanctuary's government is entirely frustrating, and the lack of progress despite my extensive efforts with Councillors Orison and Ten-irons during their tenure on your Council; and what little progress I had made being effectively made pointless with Lower Councillor Noye's term beginning, was extremely frustrating, to the point I began to see bullying as a better method of accomplishing what I had set out to do.

Sincerely, Councillor Meldren

Meldren,

Did it pass your mind that I am also on the Lower Council? You're apologising for your overbearing, assuming, selfish and bullying nature while -still- displaying it whilst insulting by placing your faults and blame over me.

In the future, when you issue an apology, it makes a far better impression not to contradict yourself.

Noye

Noye,

I can truthfully say I have no idea what I said to insult you. I was fully aware that you were still on the Lower Council. The issue I spoke of was that when you came to the Lower Council, talks of reunification essentially started over from the beginning, with many of the changes I had spoken of with Orison and Ten Irons no longer being viable, or even desired. It was frustrating for me to consider that I would have to again find out what another Councillor's visions for Lower were.

Speaking of which, Mayor Bresley has given his support to the proposal.

Councillor Meldren

Meldren,

Your apology is accepted then. I will inform you when I have managed to persuade Bill to accept the terms.

Noye

Freeman Meldren:

I assumed it to be common knowledge among the elected Council that many of the free people of Lower sought refuge in Upper when the Tigereye Mercinaries took their final and most brutal stand against us.

It is my understanding that they remain in Upper, but wish to return to their homes as soon as they can. This will be possible if both the letter and the spirit of the Accord are upheld.

The pre-campaigning season will be exciting, indeed, as the Accord could actually be implemented in a matter of hours.

Good dark,

- Blackhaw.
