Letter to Agent Lathain or Spellguard (DM)

Elient 22, 151 Agent Lathain Spellguard Tower Regard Paul Tippler

Associate Paul Tippler's corpse was discovered several weeks ago. Foul play is suspected, can you inform the Watch what duties he was performing before his death for the Spellguard? His duties might have involved him in the events that lead to his death and help us bring his killers to justice.

Filed Sergeant Fawkes

PS. This information will be incredibly helpful to the research I'm conducting Agent Lathain.

*Agent Lathain forwards it to the rest of the Spellguard.*

Sgt. Fawkes,

The name Paul Tippler does not appear on our Associate Roster. Are you sure Paul Tippler was an Associate, and if so, what proof do you have of such?

-Field Officer Ferrington Order of the Spellguard Mages

Field Officer Ferrington,

Tippler's corpse was found, he had a signed Spellguard contract on his body. It was signed by Officer Barkley of the Spellguard.

Lieutenant Fawkes

Lt. Fawkes,

Congratulations on your promotion. On matters of Tippler, I suspect the contract was a stolen or forged copy, as we are knowledgeable of a small amount that is dispersed among the population. I'll notify you if any of our Agents recognize the name, but as of now I believe his alleged association with us is a mistake.

-Field Officer Ferrington Order of the Spellguard Mages

Lt. Fawkes,

Attached is an update in regards to Associate Tippler.

-Field Officer Ferrington

Mister Tippler was indeed an Associate for a short time, after coming to me with the interest of monitoring and controlling magical goods. I had him assigned to some simple observation regarding the exchange of a few substances I was interested in. I know of nothing that would have led him into a deadly situation given his only assignment.
