Dear Alexander,
How have you been? I've been doing relatively well. Reforging my friendship with a few old acquaintances. I write to you now in hopes that I can steal a few moments from you so that we can speak on a matter important to both you and myself. Leave word for me at the Manor, as that is where I've been rooming recently.
Sincerely,
Wendall Hood

*letter reviewed by Guardian Zebulon Smythe and delivered to Lord Alexander's desk with a letter attached*
Lord Alexander,
I have spoken with Mister Hood a few times since you provided the food machine to him some time ago.
He seems to have been eager to prevent fighting with the kobolds, dragon, and the man named Cole. He thinks that talking with them will improve the situation. I personally think that it is not possible to just talk, and that action will be necessary.
Of course he may have other things to discuss when he meets you, if you intend to meet him that is, as I do not know of all of your conversations you have had with him.
I must say that he does refer to you as 'Alex' when he meets me, and I think that he does not show enough respect. Please consider this when you decide to answer or meet with him.
Humbly,
Guardian Zebulon Smythe
