Elient 19, 151 Councilor Bhast and Fryar Townhall Regard Blue Mushroom Survivors

There were several survivors of the attack on the Blue Mushroom by the Synod of Slaal'teesh. The location is contaminated by disease and rotting corpses. I suspect Councilor Fryar may be ideally suited to organize a mission to cleanse the area. I also volunteer to brew potions of fortitude and donate them to those entering the region to protect them from the diseased air until such time as the area is safe. Any other aid I can offer is volunteered as well.

Furthermore, this is an ideal outpost to use to track the lizardfolk. If they begin making landfall on our region of the Dark Lake it'll be seen from this location. A band of Seekers could perhaps go with Fryar's cleansing mission of healers to refortify and bring support to the survivors.

We have few allies in the Underdark; it will behoove us to help those who may be kindly inclined to us.

Finally, have the Seekers provided a report on Slaal'teesh's actions? Its possible the locals near the Blue Mushroom such as Hrunpar or the merchants at the Lost Shop may know more about recent activity. Furthermore, they are likely targets for future raids and may be willing to cooperate in exchange for offers of protection or aid.

It may be wise to help rebuild the settlement as a trading outpost. They likely would even pay or be willing to contract out for protection. If Fryar sends a healing and supply mission as I suggest, it'll incline them towards friendship with us.
