For Sergeant Fawkes

Sergeant Fawkes,

you put up a notice about missing citizens.

The last I saw Miladia was a couple of weeks ago when she attempted to assist me in regaining a magical hammer that was stolen from me. I was in the arena and was challenged by a man with a large spear, who succeeded at besting me by disarming me during the fight and then beating me to the ground while I was lunging for my weapon, which was on the ground. The man proceeded by taking the hammer while I lay uncontious on the ground, quaffed an invisibility potion and left the building. We followed clues to the Canal District and discovered that he had sold the hammer to the owner of the Curio Shop.

Miladia, albeit a bit overzelously, attempted to assist me in regaining the hammer and was then met with a bodyguard hired by the curio shop owner. After he insulted her honour numerous times, she lunged at him and was struck to the ground. While she lay there, a few citizens who had been watching took it upon themselves to liberate her gold and a few posessions from her pack. I told them to return her belongings to her and everything was returned, except for about half of her gold. The man in posession of her gold refused to hand the rest over and I accosted him for it, laying him to the ground only to be attacked by his friends and killed. Fortunately a friend of mine was able to bring both me and my posessions to the shrine of Ibrandul and pay for me return.

Miladia is a mercenary and quite short tempered when it comes to her honour. She may very well have attempted to regain her lost gold and/or posessions from these criminals.

The man who took the gold was wearing green and has been called Shroom by others. I know not if that is his real name. The others involved, I unfortunately only remember vaguely and would as such not do any good by attempting to describe them as I could very well confuse them with others.

In the hopes that this will assist you, Alexander Reile
