In a Illithid breed pit, a pregnant human gave birth to twin girls –those girls were special, the Illithids felt it. Soon enough, they were marked and they started experimenting on them, on the special bond they shared. It was as if they knew each others thoughts and feelings without expressing them.

As the years passed, the Illithids noticed that the girls, named Allisa and Alliza, had powers over magic. However, both did not seem to cover the same areas in magic –oddly enough, that they were almost identical in all other aspects. Allisa seemed to concentrate on charms and enchantments, while Alliza would focus on illusions and divinations.

As they reached adulthood, the twins decided to make an escape. Fnzzzi’ar, an Illithid once again invaded the mind of Allisa – as it was doing so, both tried to stun him with a blast of energy – and they succeeded. If it was due to their bonds, or because it was easier while he was invading a mind, or perhaps just luck, they do not know – and they didn’t stay to find out.

Once in the underdark, Alliza went in deep meditation and she “felt” something –a new life, for them. The twins followed the “feeling” and ended up in Sanctuary.
