My name is Raphael Swift, a sorcerer. I wish to know if I am allowed to keep my best friend and familiar flying with me, when I walk in your area. He's polite, greets almost everyone he meets and only hurts rats and bats. Though the fact that he is a deep dragon wyrmling could count against him, I assure you he will do no harm.

Even here, it's understood that arcanists have unusual traveling companions. I am sure your comrade means no harm to the residents of Lower.

However, the same cannot be said of the residents' attitude toward your comrade. This is particularly so, given the changeable nature of Lower's population.

For your comrade's sake, carry him with you. Being correct - that he will not harm the people here - will be cold comfort indeed should someone take it into their heart to do your friend harm.
