Perhaps you are aware that the potion wards you from the attacks of evil creatures, thus making you more difficult to strike. Truly though, one of the potions more beneficial properties grants immunity to all mind affecting spells and spell like abilities inflicted upon you by evil creatures! These are truly must have items and the form a hotcake would take if it were a potion.

Potions are not guaranteed to protect imbiber from subjective evil derived from personal opinion that may not be true on a purely cosmic level.
