((the letter is dropped and the Crone and a copy is left with Spencer)) Dear, Julian Fryar
In order to keep you from making the grave and stupid mistake of Marching on the Inn of Undeath in the future, let me make some of the problems that could result if you fail.
1) You being exiled for endangering Sanctuary by rising the ire Of a powerful necromancer.
2) Sanctuary being overun with undead and you becoming a slave in the inn of undead yourself.
3) A massive battle resulting in the death of many.
4) You losing all favor in the eyes of your god for breaking the law and Endangering Sanctuary.
Now That the probabal results are known to you here are other reasons why you shouldn't.
1) We have more pressing issues to contend with, for example: The goblins in lower, criminals that are still lose, unwarrented magic use in the Dunwarren, Drow, Mindflayers, The Dragon that is offering to help but again is likely to turn on us.
2) The division in Sanctuary, "Divided we fall, United we stand" pretty much sums this up.
3) Thomas is insane and merely indulgis in morbid acts of necromancy. He may be a corpse thief, but He actually never threatened Sanctuary before.
4) As dreadful as this sounds, Thomas Could be a Potential ally.
5) We simply lack the neccessary resourse to make an assualt. We need all our resourses to go into the defense of this town.
Let me make my point clear: If you should ever attack the undeath inn and Fail, You threaten every man, woman, and child in this Place of freedom.
I am not saying that you are going to, but I just wished to make it clear to you the results of this if you fail. It is not in the interest of Sanctuary to make another enemy.
I am going to guess your arguement. You are argue that Necromancy is evil and summoning dead spirits enslaves the soul to another bondage. The gods Kelemov and Osirus, Jergal and any other self-rightious god would agree with this. I am afraid that these are wrong. The Slavery ends when the necromancer dies (unless he is a lich or an archmage) so to a spirit in short, suffers very little in its long ardous spirit life.
These are reasons, not excuses in which why you shouldn't attack the Inn. I am pleading with you, do not make future plans to attack, this attack might have negative results even if it should SUCCEED! I am imploring think of the people who might be indirectly-directly effected if you should win or lose.
Sincerely,
Tren Wettias.
