-A letter left for Frum Highill at the Rock Bottom-

Greetings merchant,

we spoke together in the bazaar earlier today and you wished for me to send you a full list of the wares I needed.

I require the prices on the following:

Twenty (20) half-plates, all identically built and dyed: (Perchance similar to my own armor, a dab of red in various places for my patron deity, the Red Knight)

Thirty (30) longswords:

Ten (10) pikes or halberds:

Twenty five (25) tower shields:

Fourty (40) knifes or daggers:

Twenty (20) longbows:

Twenty (20) crossbows:

Two (2) catapults: (I would need to be able to dismantle them and piece them back together relatively quickly when I have them in place, for easy transporting.)

Two (2) repeating crossbows: (The same as with the catapults.)

Ammunition for the longbows, crossbows and siege equipment. I'd require a conciderable amount for each type. Various sorts of siege equipment ammunition would be appreciated as well:

If you could find the price on provisions as well, for a group of twenty to twenty five men for a week, I would appreciate it.

----

I'll have the 1000gold for you when we next meet, until then I would appreciate it if you could begin your work so I have an idea on how much this will cost. Send your reply to me at the Rock Bottom in a well sealed letter.

- Alexander Reile

-Another letter is send-

Merchant,

I may have found someone that is capable of building siege equipment so I would only need the materials for the devices.

- Alexander Reile

Dear Sir

I've managed to speak to a supplier, for the armour, longswords, pikes and daggers, the supplier wishes twenty five thousand coin, they can complete this order in ten darks, the other items they do not make, they can however, if you have plan's, complete your seige weapons, ammunition they do not also make, perhaps a member of the watch may point you in the right direction, im sure they must have surplus wares.

Yours faithfully

Frum highill

Dear merchant Highill,

I apologise for not having put the gold in your hands yet but I was unfortunately assaulted while defending the honour of a comrade and lost most of my gold. Do not fret, you shall find compensation for your work soon enough.

That being said, I have a proposal for you.

I am currently hiring men to serve me in an attempt to clear out the dark canal of the creatures that reside within it. There are creatures within who have, as I have been informed, sunken nearly every ship that has entered the Canal and as such, are bound to be laden with riches beyond our very dreams. If you support my mission by supplying me and my men with the weapons and armor needed to finish this, I will ensure that you find yourself heartily rewarded when the task is done.

You would receive a large portion of any gold recovered from the creatures within the Canal as well as many of the items claimed as well, to sell to your customers.

I understand that it is a risk to take, supporting a man who still remains unknown to you and actions he wishes to take that may not bear fruit at all. But concider the awards should the task succeed, your contribution may well be doubled, if not more.

Should you decide to decline, I still wish to continue business with you as I shall simply have to find another sponsor to the matter.

Send a reply as soon as you are able with any requests you may have which might assist you in agreeing to my request.

Hoping for a positive reply,

Alexander Reile.

Dear sir

Business should be discussed in private, if you would like to arrange a meeting with me, please do so, i do have various questions and demands, i would like to discuss before i put any money into this business venture.

Yours Faithfully

Frum Highill
