To kill is quite the rush, and an ever pleasing experience. To see the dwarves eyes bulge as negative energy withered his body brought a rare smile to my face. Though in all fairness he was given three chances to extinguish the flames he so foolishly started, his refusal sealed the pudgy creature's fate.
To walk along the glacier is soothing and I am glad to be rid of previous residencies. Every passing day is bliss and my power has become quite substantial, even enough to satiate my ever craving urges. The arctic creatures have become submissive where ever I see fit to travel.
With great power comes the irritation of great responsibility, and as such I have been tasked to something rather meaningful. Word has been spreading of dark skinned elves roaming south of the Great Glacier. I shall see fit to glance upon the rumoured Drow and punish them if their ways offend the Icedawn.

Three days of relentless blizzard.
I have Rendezvoused with a male named Marcus, also sent to keep an eye on the alleged Drow movement. He is quite submissive and will cherish my rule like a good puppet. This Marcus has informed me of what one could best describe as a camp to the far east. The Drow are apparently hoarding Frost Giants as well as the odd Goblin for some unknown reason, slaves would be the educated guess.
Either way the Giants should by all means possess the ability to do away with such a pest, they do lend there voices to the arctic song after all. Word states that they are supposedly captured with ease and then even more easily controlled. Something isn't right here at all, further investigation will warrant the truth. For now I tend to the cleansing and a night within the frosty streams shall clear my mind.
Jalastancia.....To serve in the Frostmaiden's name.

Plans have gone awry and it is entirely that fool Marcus's fault. Though not to worry, I have assured him that he will in fact suffer greatly for this. That is unless he can redeem himself to my liking as well as the maidens.
We were captured by a lone Drow and our needless defeat was irritating beyond words. I merely fell to the ground after a single blow in a coy attempt at luring him into a complete state of confidence and security, only then to arise and strike him down with the Icedawn's full fury. Unfortunately dear Marcus had the bright idea of making a stand and apparently held his own against the Drow for some time. I don't know the details as my focus was entirely on my own plight. After Marcus fell I thought it only best to allow myself to be captured to make sure he didn't come to any harm of course.
I must have dozed off within the cage but we both awoke in some type of small Drow encampment, there seems to be a substantial amount of slaves about, slaves of many races. What is unsettling is the fact that these slaves seem out of it, almost as if all will has been stripped and they just idly serve. Auril will not let a servant so devout as myself to come to any harm or suffer this fate I am sure. My options are to wait and see where this caged trip will lead me, or escape. Time will decide. Whatever is leading this convoy leads from behind, I hope it shows itself soon enough. I still don't know what purpose these Drow have, perhaps it is as simple as mere slavery.
Jalastancia.....Fickle and angered.

It is done.
Sometimes one must ponder why they associate themselves with people that are inferior and all together redundant as a whole. Marcus seems to be all these things and more, the fool is responsible for our so called freedom. To keep things short it seems Mind flayers are not just myth, and are quite the disgusting and morose sight to behold, even I didn't enjoy watching the thing feed on some halfling. If I am to ever encounter such a beast again I will be sure to end it quickly yet painfully in Auril's name.
Marcus saw fit in delivering a swift kick to the tentacle beasts face when he was indeed approaching our chained cage, needless to say we had to make a dashing escape avoiding any immediate danger to our lives. It seems we are in some deep cavern, no need to worry we shall be walking the northern coast soon enough.
Jalastancia... Striving upwards.

We are in the Underdark...
Or so it seems. After countless days of walking cave and narrows, we have by chance stumbled across what one would make out as a slave settlement. Sanctuary is its name and flame burns far to freely here for my liking, it is something that will indeed be rectified in time.
If I am to reside amongst the depths of the earth, I will make sure to capitalize on whatever value there is to be had down here, as well as still serving, unwavering to Auril's will.
The town for the most part seems to be organised into two areas both upper and lower, violence is common as is battle between several of the more prominent factions. one could make a fortune just pitting the right individuals against each other, however pitiful that seems. But for the most part the town seems to be led by a few individuals who stand out amongst the broken slaves. They even have some form of government, not that such things have ever appealed to myself.
There are a series of caves outside of Sanctuary that I have taken a liking to. I wish them to feel Auril's touch, a little frost would do wonders and blend in with the natural haze of the place. Though there is a problem, some haggish looking giant kind watches over the area. Her eyes have followed my steps as I walked through the place slaying Chitin and Troglodyte alike. I sense hostilities growing, and I welcome them with a smile. Let her feel the Icedawn's fury if need be.
Jalastancia...under settled.
