This is regarding the Silver weapons and Vampires,
Why shouldn't they damage vampires?
I asked in DM Q&A forum, and it does not. Yet, as far as I recall Silver do damage (or at least stun? ) Vampires.
Even in the low quality Vampires movie, Blade, it has its effect.
I suggest to add something so Silver weapons do, at least, some damage to vampires.

Yep. Actually, as far as my vampire lore extends, silver has very few references in their legends. Now werewolves, they were the ones affected by silver. Something to do with the silver appearance of the moon and the lycan connection to it.

I believe the Vampire's weakness to silver came from Vampire: The Masquerade. There fore it has no bearing here.

Either Vampire the masquerade or Hellsing.
Either way, in the FR universe, Silver has no effect against vampies.

as far as vampires and silver goes it stems from the vampire masqurade games as well as blade and a few other sources. The older vampire ledgends and stories as well as the more known ones like Dracula make little or no mention of silver save it being used to reflect sunlight to kill them. Although silver weapons do look cool and if you are gonna have your unlife ended may as well be done with a cool looking sword.
