Letter to Fawkes, Sannen and Marshall

All

The mage Sahur Mumford magically attacked me in upper, by means of some sort of inferno fire spell. He also managed to summon some mage eaters (which i was able to dispatch, with the help of one of your guards). The guard and i, along with another Stout (Cronus) took to the chase but he was enchanted with speed and escaped.

Would be nice if ya caught this fella cos spells like that will not only kill their intended targets but also many around them, i was alroight cos i can handle meself but not all can.

This is not the first time that Mumford has done this, as the attack in Barak Tor that has been reported should testify.

Ya guard near the bridge outside the Rock Bottom ((DM possessed)) may be able ta give ya some more details as in the heat of the chase i lost him, so don't know if he ever caught up with him?

By the way I could a feckin smegged him with me divine blessins, but i never cos our Thane would na want me to do such things with the mage eaters n' all, i have the feckin patience of a saint!

Let me know when ya catch him

Kasin

Barak Tor

scribed to the Watch

I have now on a second offense been assaulted by the mage Mumford. Four seperate cases have already been filled through the Spellguard and the Watch.

It is my understanding that through the law, under diction of Sergeant Fawkes, we are unable ourselves to attack back should this happen and yet again must find the proper authority when it occurs.

To date we have not attacked back. Marshall has indicated that a warrent is already out for his arrest.

Fawkes I think I will ask what the fine is for defense of my own life when attacked. Perhaps I will just take jail time perhaps the fine, whatever it is for I dont know how long I myself or my Clan can withstand attackes and not retaliate.

Furthermore, I will be sending letter to the Council to make a special arrangement to have the man brought in dead or alive, making excuse for any citizen who comes into contact with him, giving them the right to exercise a physical attack on him.

I have sent word to Lower Councilman Noye on this and he has authorized me the right to defend mysel from Mumford, should an accident or situation happen while in the lower sections of the city.

With hope, still, Mydur.
