So, Orison Hallafat finds himself dead and in the fugue.
Although he mellowed a little bit as the character developed, he always did have some unusual and unorthodox religious ideas.
Poor Orison. Guess those didn't work out for him!
Thanks to everyone who contributed to Orison's story and helped make him so much fun to play.

This is all a cunning ploy to not have to buy Adella that beer! Great character, Heft. I look forward to the next one.

Orison wasn't faithless, it's just that what he worshiped wasn't exactly able to do him any good.

:( But his wand order is ready!
If you look closely, you can see that Orison's Awesome gives every Seeker uniform a slight shimmer. 8)
Heft, thank you.
(I must now debate turning myself to stone, as I feel this change has been too much for me.)

Orison was by far the biggest aspect in the shaping of my character. Sorry to see him go, but looking forward to what comes next.

I thought I would add a little postscript here. Here are some images of the approximate burial of Orison.
In this picture the heavy weights of lower gnash their teeth, wail and shake their fists at the gods, appalled at the outrage of Orisons head on a stake. Unfortunately I wasn't able to save any of the dialogue, as it is laden with spoilerish information about Orisons killers. But I don't think it gives to much away to say that it was generally concluded that Orison was killed by an unholy alliance of the shadow tribe, the goblins, the spellguard, half the lower council (and they are an odd number!), the vampires, the chosen and the society-for-the-slaying-of-effete-bards (even-if-they-do-crit-for-80). Clearly they banded together and raised the ghost of Tommy Ten-Irons to make the kill. Now the killers are unmasked, revenge will be fast and overwhelming.
Your hard lower tax dollars at work. Watch that councilor work up a sweat.
After a heated debate, it was decided not to sell the head to Rebxn for a premium, but rather return it to be laid to rest.
It was all a moving emote-fest unlikely to be seen again on this or any other server.
Heft your character rocked, and jokes aside, it was clear how significant everyone felt his departure was (and not just because they don't know what XP train they are going to catch to lvl 9 now....). I hope you are already RPing the socks off the lvls 3s and 4s under a pseudonym.
Props and kudos on a great character.

Found this while cleaning out the hard drive!
Vince insisted on repaying Tommy's kindness with a favor. Tommy wouldn't hear of it, so Orison thinks of something on the spot. CoT_Heft your ability to come up with this impromptu, amazed me. You raised the bar for me by how you involve other people so seamlessly.
A part got cut off. Orison stirs the goblin poo into the stew. We get Vince to bring it to Sheriff Short. If he delivered the goblin tainted stew, his debt was repaid. If he got the Sheriff to eat a bite, we give him 200 coins. If he got the Sheriff to eat the whole thing, Orison gives Vince his magic spear (which was actually really good).
Orison zaps him with an invis wand and we foot it to Lower.
Kiaring's rogue makes a cameo. The rest is cut off.
