Elient 7, 151 Council Townhall Regard Internal Watch Corruption

At his recent trial, Christon Noye made the allegation that his initial arrest for assault was illegal because he had been previously fined by Sergeant Sannen for his assault against Sonia. The woman who he later admitted he attempted to murder; provoking his arrest for capital crimes and recent trial.

After looking through the evidence and speaking with Noye's witnesses it appears that Sergeant Sannen did indeed fine Noye for assault. This in fact does invalidate my arrest of him on Elient 3, 151.

I am suggesting the Watch open an investigation into this. The Sheriff has already authorized me to investigate the lack of reports made on the Spire Assault, to which Sergeant Sannen was also a member.

I expect the fine paid by Noye will have to be returned. It was in the amount of 200 gold coins. That will be determined by an internal Watch investigation.
