[A letter to Fawkes left at the Watch Station]

Comrade Fawkes,

Your manifesto on the Brotherhood of the Silver Flame and Councilor Julian Fryar intrigues me.

Though I fear that my time has been extremely short in the last few days, when you have a moment I am interested in examining the evidence behind the claims presented against him, Lower Councilor Noye, and Thane Rollo Stoneshield of Clan Stoutheart.

May Sanctuary prosper,

E. Baezos

Elient 6, 151

Rollo Stoneshield plead guilty before the Sheriff to illegal spellcasting in the area of Barak-Tor.

Christon Noye plead guilty to assault and attempted murder.

Councilor Fryar obtained letters of complaint against myself from both criminals claiming they were wrongfully punished for the crimes they admitted to. Fryar then insulted me publicly calling me "Tyrant Fawkes" for "abusing" my power and being "corrupt" because I arrested two individuals who both plead guilty to crime. I truthfully to this moment do not understand their objections but have no qualms forwarding them to you.

Respectfully,

Sergeant Barrister Fawkes

Enclosed

Rollo Stoneshield's First Claim of Attempted Murder Final Report On First Incident Rollo's First Complaint about this ruling and responses. Rollo's Second Claim of Attempted Murder Notice his second claim is directed to Sergeant Sannen. Rollo clearly believes his cases are not being reviewed by the Watch in full, which is erroneous.

Complaint Letter Sent to Sheriff ((Only the first letter is copied over.)) I urge you to read Rollo's letter carefully. ((The section where Rollo mentions the Sheriff watched him break the law on magic use in Barak-Tor several times is underlined repeatedly.))

Warrant For Rollo

Elient 1, 151 Watch File Room Watch House Warrant Rollo Stoneshield

Rollo Stoneshield is wanted on numerous charges for illegal and unlawful casting of magic in the region of Barak-Tor. Two witnesses have confirmed his use of magic outside the warded regions of Sanctuary.

These are serious crimes, and when Rollo is brought in I suggest turning him over to the Spellguard for investigation.

When arrested, Rollo plead guilty. He was fined for minor crimes by the Sheriff. Note, he was not fined for every instance of law breaking but only once with all his repeated offenses leniently treated as a single case.

Report on Noye

Summary of Sonia Arrynal's account of the events of Eleasis the 23rd, regarding her assault by the invidiual known as Christon.

Superiors,

Probationary Constable Sebastian Northwood reporting in regards of Sonia's account of the happenings today.

Sonia said she heard an invisible man in Upper. Being a "researcher" as she said, she used magic to see the invisible, thus realizing that the man which we now know to have been the late Maximillion Best was the offender. Making herself invisible, she followed him because he had "menacing robes and an intimidating look". After a while, Miss Arrynal lost him, but soon found him again, now realizing that Maximillion was following a dwarf, Tuur. The two went into a cave, Tuur unaware of the following Maximillion. Sonia also entered that cave; a beetle farm close to the Zurkhwood warehouse. Inside, she overheard Maximillion say something to Tuur before he, the now immolated Best, began attacking Tuur using spells of Haste and Colour Spray. Sonia, no longer invisible, tried to help Tuur, but before she could act, a man called Christon allegedly assaulted her. She complained to me about some other assaults by Christon in the past, even murder attempts. That be as it may, she quickly used a spell to hold Christon, successfully. Tuur, thinking she was in league with Best, attacked Sonia soon afterwards, but she held him too and fled to the Rock Bottom Inn, not managing to see what happened to Best. That concludes the report.

Respectfully, Probationary Constable Sebastian Northwood

Christon was arrested on this report's statements. He plead guilty to the charges. He served time for a Serious Charge.

We also had reports that were legitimate that Noye might have had contact with the illithid Intryzz. He was held several extra hours until the Spellguard was able to perform a mind probe to ensure he was not a thrall; whereupon he was released after confessing that he not only assaulted Sonia but still planned her murder.

The Watch has gathered further evidence against him and he now has a warrant out for capital crimes involving this allegation.
