To: Council of Upper, Re: Orphanage

Dear all,

Some of you may have noticed the sign I have posted in the Town Hall and outside the Orphanage entrance enquiring about the current stewardship of the place. I wish to establish whether there is anyone currently looking after it, and wish to take on such duties if deemed appropriate.

My friend Julian and your fellow councillor can vouch for my trustworthiness in this endeavour.

I have spent today cleaning the space in an attempt to erase the memory of past events that occurred in that cave. Hopefully I will be able to encourage a few of the vagrant children that populate lower to come to a warmer and safer environment under my care. I would also seek a member of the CDL to prevent future mistreatment of the children, and volunteer myself to undertake an education of the children in self-defence.

I hope my proposal is deemed desirable.

Sincerely,

Nirav Sumati

Nirav Sumati,

Former Councilor and fellow Ilmateri Ernestine Helthor was assigned to, and remains the steward of the orphanage. Your concerns and requests would be best brought to her. I already made a request on your behalf:

Howland Many of the surviving children have been taken in temporarily by various groups and concerned citizens. Ernestine Helthor remains willing to serve as the orphanage ward but is waiting until adequate security precautions are taken before returning to the orphanage.

- Office of the Herald

I'd be happy to support you in this endeavor, but you should likely speak with Ms. Helthor first.
