My fellow citizens of upper sanctuary In the past few months it should have become painfully clear that the current council and several of the ones before it have lacked the courage or the moral backbone to do what is right.

This great city was founded on the belief that it should be a haven for escaped slaves yet today it faces its greatest threat, not from Drow, not from the mind flayers but from the very council that is supposed to be for the benefit of us all. This council has exchanged one form of slavery for another for what else would you call legitemising a group of thugs and murderours who have seized lower?

This council panders to a group of thugs whilst avoiding making the hard decisions it should be making well i say no more. I Kale Aldren have taken it upon myself to stand for the next council election.

Who am i? I hear you ask I am a man like you who knows the horrors of slavery and swore never again to let it happen to me yet that is what the council has done to the people of lower so i feel it is my duty as a citizen of sanctuary to stand up to this injustice. If you feel that this is an injustice as well then vote Kale Aldren in the coming Marpenoth election.

You are a man who knows nothing, and that is all I shall say on the matter.

there is nothing to say because you know i am right after all who voted for you? I did not and im sure none of the fine citizens of this town did. You know this to be true so have to resort to petty retorts instead of giving a full and proper reply. This is the kind of tyranny i speak of a man who was never elected by the people suddenly deciding that he should try and influence our vote in a free and democratic election if you see this as i do and are as equally opposed to it then make the right choice and vote for me Kale Aldren in the Marpenoth election.

Perhaps if you put as much effort into that as you have making a fool of yourself our city would be much safer.

I do not think I am the only man whom has trouble taking you seriously. You enter our homes and seek to slander what leadership we have. You think your words so wise yet you cannot even take the time to read over what you carelessly write for simple errors in your own spelling. How can you expect a city of a thousand to see you as a man to follow when you cannot even take the time to proof-read your ignorant slander?

Well please tell me who's homes i have enterd? Since all i am doing is following this citys 150 year history of free speach but clearly you have a problem with anyone having a free voice at all.
