Good Councilmember, I write you this letter in order to receive information from you not as a councilmember but as a priest of your faith. It has recently been brought to my attention that groups of travellers lead by a man named Durthag Brighthammer have been seeking out and destroying Earth Elementals wherever they are able. Apparently, it would appear that this citizen has somekind of grudge against these elementals since it would appear that he takes it upon himself to travel great distances simply to face them.

I would like to know if you or your fellow priests have noticed anything strange going on in regards to this matter. It has been claimed that Elementals have been under the control of our enemies but it has also been brought to my attention that this man holds stones capable of controlling them himself.

Any and all information you have on the matter will be appreciated and will aid our investigation immensely.
