Alright, i KNOW this has been done about a zillion times. But seriously, some bards are musical characters, and i would very much like it is you could post the songs your bards have been running around singing, (if any have), or songs metioned in those forgotten realms books i KNOW you have. The reason; bards learn. They learn thing from eachother and stuff, so this topic is an idea i had to kind of simulate that.

Lock it and die?
I wasn't aware anyone was going to lock this, though if you thought your topic might be maybe it's a clue not to post such things! It also helps people take you more seriously if you don't make such threats!

Looking past that last part, this seems like a GREAT idea...for something bards could be doing in game! I think thats the point of the game, to interact, learn from each other, sing songs, be merry. Seems like it would be a waste to take that sort of interactions away from the game and into the forums. Some bard players post their songs in their journals as well, if you really want to learn them OOC.

This site is a ryhming dictionary :D ((lol I sound like a spambot))

Check it out, and I expect a song to hear IG!
Ohh, and a book of your songs, which you will publish once you write like 4-5 songs, yes?

The search function is a remarkable tool. Doing a bit of homework before posting goes a long way toward adding to discussion, rather than adding to one's postcount.
Bards, their songbooks and RP of them has already been discussed.
Unless something fresh can be added, I believe that bludgeoning the expired equine should cease.
(And as Crazy Horse has already pointed out, bards aren't real characters.)

Lock it! Lock it, DM, lock it!!
:P
But yeah, the best thing to do is to look at old folk songs, twist them about and make them yours, then sing them and publish them IG and in your journal, and trade IG.
